Fieldwork
I carried out a three-week fieldwork project in Ethiopia in 2025 in which I ran phonetic experiments at the University of Addis Ababa. For this project I was awarded a Boston University Graduate Research Abroad Fellowship (GRAF).

I have also carried out language consulting and fieldwork projects in diaspora communities in Massachusetts with speakers of Amharic and Haitian Creole.
